Frequently asked questions
Which cloud platform should we use?
It usually comes down to your existing stack, your team's experience and your commercial agreements. Organisations already invested in Microsoft licensing often land naturally on Azure; teams building data and AI workloads frequently prefer AWS or Google Cloud.
We make a recommendation during the assessment and document the reasoning, including what it would cost to change direction later.
Can you migrate without downtime?
For most workloads, yes — using replication, parallel running and a controlled cutover. Where a short maintenance window is genuinely required, we say so up front and schedule it around your business.
Do we need Kubernetes?
Often not. Kubernetes is powerful and it is also an operational commitment. If a managed container service or a platform-as-a-service covers your workload, we will recommend that instead.
How much can we reduce our cloud bill?
It varies with how the environment was built, so we do not quote a percentage before looking. The assessment produces a specific list of actions with the saving estimated for each.
Will our team be able to run this after handover?
That is the point of the engagement. We document the architecture, write the runbooks, walk your engineers through the pipeline, and stay available during the first operational period.
